Inspired by the moods and landscape of the moor, Tallis spent several years composing in quiet secrecy. The resulting album is a haunting musical portrait that bears witness to the trials of love and loss.

The songwriting is deliberately bare, exploring alienation and despair, ultimately taking you on a journey towards redemption.

Tallis trained as a classical pianist, yet her eclectic musical roots sink deep into jazz, folk, and rock ‘n roll, influences that weave their way into her strange musical cloth.

The album features collaborations with cellist India Bourne (Ben Howard), jazz drummer Coach York (Mike Westbrook), and classical violinist Anna Kirkpatrick (Tom Baxter).
